This is Sammy, part of the group Ripp travels with. Sammy is the “caster extraordinaire” as they say. Sammy is also a rather unique being in that, at this current stage in life, Sammy has no gender. You see, Sammy’s kind doesn’t develop their gender assignment until much later in life. But, being the understanding, compassionate, and rather empathetic being that Sammy is, using either “he” or “she” in definition does not cause offense. Sammy understands that many times, others feel uncomfortable without such labels. This is not to say that Sammy doesn’t have fun at times making the more obnoxious people uncomfortable.
